How to Impact Others: Don’t Let Fear Hold You Back

Impact Others Lives by Doing What You Are Afraid Of

By holding onto your fears, refusing to step out of your comfort zone, you make no impact in peoples lives. Life is too short to live in fear.

How to Impact Others: Don’t Let Fear Hold You Back

I have had a hell of a turnaround from five years of struggling, always spending more than I was making as an entrepreneur, to eventually being able to earn millions of dollars, travel around the world, have real lifestyle freedom.

It definitely hasn’t always been this way.

I can’t tell you how incredibly frustrating it was the first five years, feeling like I was banging my head against a wall over, and over, and over, and wondering what was wrong with me. because I was watching other people pass me up and I was still where I was.

I had loads of self-doubt and was always beating myself up.

    Can you relate to this?

I didn’t have the confidence to make the calls, to do the things that I knew I needed to do. I would sit on social media and bury myself in a bottle of vodka because it was easier to drink and numb out than it was to actually do the thing that I was afraid of.

    We distract ourselves.

Thank goodness for loads of personal development because eventually, I was able to start doing the things that I was afraid of.

    It Wasn’t an Overnight Process

Everyone always asks me, “What was the one thing?”

I wish I could tell you there was one thing but it was all of the things.

It was learning as much as I could learn.

I was actually on the phone with a young guy earlier and it was inspiring to hear his story.

He hasn’t made any money in the marketing world but has gone through almost every training known to man, spending hours and hours and hours every day, soaking it in, getting the knowledge so that eventually, he can have the success and that’s how I was.

I was just seeking out the information. I’d read a book about every two or three days. I knew if I needed to change my circumstances, I had to change me first.

    The contrast is incredible.

Making money is great, time freedom is great, but the biggest blessing is being proud of the person you’ve become, being comfortable in your own skin, looking in the mirror and loving the person who looks back at you, being able to go into a room and feel like you can own the room or walk on stage and own the stage.

    It’s that feeling of power.

I’m not talking about power as far as controlling another person, I’m talking about personal power.

    Why People Fail

Over the last 24 years, having built teams that have grown to over a million customers, over $ 50M  earners on the team, there is one thing that the million dollar earners have done that the people who fail do not.

What do they have? Is it more charisma? No.

Is it a greater sales ability? No.

Are they better with people? No.

Do they come from a better family? No.

    Are they more educated? No.

The people who have made it simply have the fucking courage to do the thing that they’re afraid of.

The people who fail and I’ve seen thousands fail, the thing that they’re unwilling to do is the thing that they’re afraid of and that’s why they don’t win.

What happens when you don’t do the thing that you’re afraid of?

Obviously, you fail, but more important importantly, more significant than that, there’s a little part of you that dies inside every time.

Every day that goes by that you’re not doing the thing that you know you need to do because you’re paralyzed by fear, a little part of you dies.

You become a little less confident every day when you don’t do the thing that you know you need to do.

    Enough is Enough

Maybe you’re like me. Every day that would go by, I’d beat myself up a little bit more. I had to decide enough is enough.

My question to you is when is enough going to be enough?

I would say I’m very aggressive driven. I want to win. If you challenge me, I want to rise to the challenge.

Some people are more cause-driven and cause-oriented.

It was watching other people pass me by that got me driven.

If I look at the thousands that have not succeeded compared to the ones who have, the ones who have not succeeded, many of them were way more talented than those who won.

If you were to look at them and compare character traits and background, credibility, all of that, you would say the person who failed should have been the one that won, but why didn’t they win?

They refused to do the thing that they were afraid of.

    Get Leverage on Yourself

You’ve got to figure out how to get leverage on yourself.

One of the things that allowed me to get leverage on myself was getting pissed off enough, seeing so many other people pass me up that didn’t have anything more going for them than I had going for me.

    It was an internal competition.

You need to decide when you are going to step up.

If you’re not driven like that, by competition, maybe you’re driven by helping other people.

If that’s the case, let me ask you this.

How many people’s lives are the exact same today because you refused to step up and do the thing that you know you need to do?

In network marketing, when we go out and we do the things that we know we need to do, the things that we’re afraid of, we’re able to impact lives in a positive way.

I’ve had 5,550 on my team achieve a rank that is an average of a couple of thousand dollars a month.

That’s a lot of people earning a pretty significant income.

If I didn’t decide to do the thing that I was afraid of, that would be over 5,000 people whose lives were not impacted in a positive way.

I don’t know if you understand the impact that you can truly have from you telling a person who tells a person, who tells a person, who tells the person, that duplication effect, that exponential growth that can kick in, you, yes, you have the ability to impact thousands and thousands of lives.

Fear is Keeping You From Making an Impact in Peoples Lives

By you staying in helplessness, holding onto your fears, refusing to step out of your comfort zone, allowing your fears to be more important than other people’s lives, guess what?

    You make no impact.

At the end of your life, you’ll be buried. You’ll have a gravestone and you’ll be soon forgotten.

I remember going back to my sixth great grandfather’s grave who was my oldest known ancestor.

I don’t know what I was wanting to get out of going to see the grave.

As I’m sitting there looking at Thomas Bannister Morris, I thought, this is my oldest known ancestor and no one ever mentioned his name. Ever.

I had to find him through ancestry.com.

No one ever said his name. Why? He lived, he died, and he was soon forgotten. Most people will live, they’ll die, and they’ll, too, be soon forgotten.

I’ve got a calling to be immortal, to leave a legacy, to leave an impact that outlives me.

I had to step out of my comfort zone and do the things that I was afraid of to make this possible.

I had to call other people to step out of their comfort zone just like I’m calling you out now to step out of yours

I’m not doing this so that you can go get rich but for you to make an impact so that you can leave a legacy.

Life is Too Short Not to Make an Impact and Overcome Your Fears

    Life is amazingly short.

The earth has been here for tens of millions of years and you’re going to be here for 80, 90, 100 years if you’re lucky.

Life is a blip. It’s a blink. Don’t let your life be all that there is.

You can live and your legacy can live on if you’re willing to do the thing that you’re afraid to do.

    I hope this impacted you.

If you got something out of this, let me know in the comments.

be patient with your results in network marketing

If you’re not patient with your results, you end up sabotaging yourself.

Be Patient with Your Results in Network Marketing

One of the biggest blessings that I have had is my first five years in business, and during this time,  I was a massive failure. I struggled mightily.

I don’t know if you can relate to this, but during that journey, it was incredibly frustrating.

It was beyond frustrating because a number of things were happening.

Number one, I was paralyzed with activity.

I couldn’t seem to get myself to go take action because I didn’t have the confidence inside to move me forward, and the little actions that I did take were not very fruitful.

I did not experience a lot of results and I beat myself up in a big way because of it.

There were so many times I felt like hiding, curling up in the fetal position.

Especially as a man wanting to produce, having the desire to produce, yet not being able to, was incredibly frustrating.

Thankfully, I had enough foresight to go seek out mentors, get educated, and learn things, and as I learned and my expertise increased, my confidence increased, that increased my actions.

I had this philosophy that what you invest in your mind will fill up your wallet. Someone told me that a long time ago and I said, you know what? That makes sense.

I am going to be a success regardless of my current results. I’m going to make it happen.

And if I happen to go in debt, that’s okay because I know I’m going to come out the other side.

I’m going to tell you my suggestion on what you should do with your results and your activity.

    Be Patient.

I believe that you need to be patient with your results.

What happens is if you’re not patient with your results, you end up sabotaging yourself.

Sometimes you can’t control the results you’re experiencing.

It’s kind of like going to the gym.

I went to the gym today, and I know by me going to the gym today, I’m not going to have a big transformation in my body, but I also know that as I go every single day, over the course of the last few years, I stay in great shape and never get overweight.

I have transformed my body in a big way. Why? Because I was patient with my results. I realized it was going to take some consistent effort over time.

    There’s no overnight formula.

I’ve not seen anyone in the entrepreneurial world that I know personally go from nothing to millionaire in a day or nothing to millionaire in a week or in a month. It just doesn’t happen.

Be patient with your results because your results are not something you can control in the beginning.

If you’re an impatient person like me, it can be hard to do.

    Be Impatient With Your Activity

Here’s where you can be impatient.

Be very impatient with your activity, the activity you can control.

If you are impatient with your activity and control it, over the course of time, you’ll eventually get to where you change your results.

You’ll get good enough to where you can control your results because what happens is as you develop mastery in your field, have been doing it long enough, and learn to say the right thing to the right person at the right time, you’ll understand the nuances of leadership development.

I know that I can create momentum in an organization. Why? Because I’ve been doing it long enough.

I was patient with my results for long enough to get mastery.

Then I got mastery, the results started to happen, and then I could actually control my results, but you’ve got to go through that learning curve in the beginning.

For example, if you’re overweight, you know you can go workout every single day, but what happens is you go to the gym a couple of times, and you don’t see the transformation, and your subconscious lies to you and says, “Oh, it doesn’t work anyway.” You make excuses. You lie to yourself.

    “I’m just big boned.”

There’s no such thing as big boned. You make up lies like, “It’s genetic.” It’s not genetic.

It’s the fact that you don’t take consistent action long enough, and you don’t stop shoving crap food in your face.

If you do those things, you won’t lose weight, but when you start taking the right actions, you’ve got to be patient long enough to go get the results by being impatient with your activity.

    Stop Lying to Yourself

The lies that we tell ourselves in network marketing or in business is that “I’m not cut out for it.”

That’s a lie that you use to hold yourself back.

That’s a lie that you tell yourself so you don’t have to step out of your comfort zone, so you can stay lazy, so you can keep watching TV, or numbing yourself out, scrolling through Facebook all day long for two hours a day, and looking at other people’s lives versus taking action yourself.

Realize that you are lying when that starts to happen.

How do I know this is true? Because it’s exactly what I told myself for a long period of time.

I told myself that I’m wasn’t good enough, old enough, or smart enough. That I wasn’t a good public speaker and was a bad communicator.

All of those things that I told myself were a lie. None of that was true.

I was not too young because there’s other people who are young who’ve succeeded in a big way.

There’s other people who are bad communicators who figured it out and they succeeded in a big way as well.

Eliminate Excuses and Be Patient with Your Results

Be patient with your results. Be impatient with your activity. And that my friends, will lead you to a life that is pretty remarkable.

If you just stick it out long enough, for instance in network marketing, being able to have a residual income that comes in whether you work or not, being able to not have to fight traffic to and from work every day, to be able to not have to wake up to a blaring alarm clock every day, to be able to do something that you are passionate about, something that fulfills you, it’s totally worth it.

Being able to do something that allows you to make an impact in the lives of others instead of just collecting a paycheck.

    You Are Worth Way More

When you get that paycheck, you’ve got to look at that and seriously ask yourself, “Is that all I’m worth?”

I had about twenty-four different jobs and there were so many times I looked at what I was earning and I had to ask myself, “Is that really all I’m worth?” I know I’ve got to be worth more than this.

My friend, you are worth way more than what you’re being paid in a job.

There is no limit to the amount of income that you can earn if you’re willing to go get mastery in your field.

Go become an expert in your field. Be an authority in your field. Develop the leadership skills that are necessary to influence other people. And when you get that, it’s the ticket.

You can literally write your own future, travel all around the world, and be a blessing in other people’s lives.

You can have amazing cars, amazing homes, and take amazing vacations. All of that is possible but you’ve got to be willing to stick it out long enough. The results will kick in.

If you feel like this can add some value to some others, feel free to hit the share button. Let me know if you do in the comments so I can give you a shout out.

If you want some advanced training, hop over to LeadwithMatt.com. I’ll show you some strategies that I’ve used over the last twenty-four years that have allowed me to build an organization that’s grown to over a million customers and create an incredible level of time and money freedom.

  • How to Get Leads in Network Marketing

How to Get Leads in Network Marketing

    get leads in network marketing

If you get to the point where you are out of leads, you definitely have not adopted the philosophy that I’m about to teach you.

How to Get Leads in Network Marketing

If there’s one thing that I’m amazingly grateful for in network marketing, it’s that I adopted the philosophy that I’m about to share with you, and I can directly count millions of dollars because of this.

What I come across all the time is that people get into desperation mode and say, “Oh my God. I don’t have anyone to talk to. How can I generate leads like this”?

If you get to the point where you are out of leads, you definitely have not adopted the philosophy that I’m about to teach you.

You want to play the long game in network marketing and typically, what happens in most cases is we have a short term mentality.

We overestimate what we can do in a short amount of time, but we grossly underestimate what we can do over a long period of time.

    Be Professional

People get into network marketing and they’re not really professionals.

They’re not thinking about 10 or 20 years from now.

They’re playing the short game and because they’re playing the short game, they have this massive sense of urgency.

There’s nothing wrong with a sense of urgency unless the sense of urgency is tied to scarcity.

What I’m talking about is not having the scarcity model of, “If I don’t get people in right now, I’m screwed”.

Yes, you want to have an abundance of leads. When you first get started, you want to run hard.

You want to talk to everyone you know and run through your contacts. Do all of that.

When I decided to be a professional in network marketing over 18 years ago, what happened was I decided network marketing was going to be my career.

That meant that it’s what I’m going to do for the next 20, 30, 40, 50 years of my life.

    Play The Long Game

The reason why many people fail in network marketing is because they’re playing the short game.

When you play the short game, you’re not looking at the long term.

By doing this, you’ll leave a fortune on the table because of that scarcity.

When you play the long game, the philosophy is you always want to be meeting people and adding to your funnel.

We have an ATM in network marketing, and when you get people into the ATM, that is your contact.

If you look at your contacts in your cell phone, that’s like an ATM.

You’ve got to have the right debit card and you’ve got to have the right pin code to pull the money out.

Pulling the money out means enrolling them in buying your products or services, or sponsoring them into the business, but what happens is the reason why most people can’t pull any money from the ATM is because they don’t have any money in the ATM.

The money is in the contacts. The money is in the relationships.

    Adding Leads to Your ATM

What I decided about 18 years ago is I’m going to get ridiculously good at adding people to my ATM.

If you were to look at my contacts today, there are thousands of names, and these are not imported from my downline or from a list.

These are thousands of people that I’ve met over the last 18 years.

What I started, whenever I added someone to my database, I would create a note that said something like “Talk to them on this day. We talked about this. I met them here”.

I’ve been keeping this database and got this ATM filled with money.

I’ve got to get the money out meaning I got to invite them. I got to pitch them, present my products or services, sponsor them into the business, all that.

I’ve got a ton of money sitting in the ATM due to the fact that I have a ton of relationships because 18 years ago, I decided everyone that I met was going to be put them into my database, and I was going to build a relationship.

There are people who I put in my database many, many years ago, and it took me 10 years to sponsor them.

    That’s playing the long game.

    The Relationships Story

As you develop more skills in network marketing, there’s going to be a lot of the people that you weren’t able to sponsor years ago, but once you’ve established some success, you’ll be able to sponsor them later.

However, you’ll never sponsor them later if you have this scarcity mentality of, “If I don’t get them now, I’m not going to get them later”.

So, you end up throwing away business cards and leads and delete contacts from your phone.

Relationships are always the money in network marketing.

Whenever I went to any event, I made a conscious effort to go meet people.

I didn’t just pitch them immediately on the opportunity.

    Capturing Leads is Fun

I always had a fun goal.

If there are one hundred people at an event, I’d create a goal of getting a business card from 20% of the people.

I’ve got hundreds, and hundreds, and hundreds of business cards of people that I’ve met. And on the back of the cards, I’ll write how I met them.

Then when you call them, whether it’s immediately afterward, or two years later, you can remember, “Hey, we talked on this. We talked about this. I remember you being a really sharp person”.

Because I’ve done this consistently for so many years, if I’m in a rush and there’s a contest or promotion going on, and I need to sponsor four people this month, I can easily do that because I filled up my ATM over the last 18 years with lots of contacts.

I’m never in scarcity mode when it comes to recruiting, or selling my products or services because I’ve established this.

    Stay in Contact

Obviously, it’s going to work way better if you stay in contact with people, reach out from time to time, and strengthen the relationship.

Because as someone forgets you, they kind of fall out of your ATM and it becomes a lot harder to sponsor them.

I remember getting into sponsoring mode, calling someone, and I was like, “Hey John, it’s Matt. Listen, I don’t know if you remember me, but we met a few years ago. I remember you being a really sharp guy and I just wanted to see if you’re open minded to looking at something else.”

The guy had no idea who I was, but he was open to looking because it was just the right timing.

The thing is if I hadn’t been doing this over the years, then I wouldn’t have any money in my ATM. Your phone is an ATM.

You’ve got to extract the money out but you need to be loading it up. So, play the long game.

Make a concerted effort today that you’re going to load up your ATM with lots and lots of relationships and if they don’t join you now, it’s okay because a year from now, five years from now, 10 years from now, the timing may be better.

    Don’t Collect Leads, Make Friends

If you’re a pro and this is your career, it’s okay if it takes you 10 years to sponsor someone.

You’re going to sponsor a lot of other people along the way but because you’re building this amazing database of relationships and contacts, you never have to be in scarcity mode.

Decide you’re going to play the long game, decide you’re going to be a pro, decide this is what you’re going to be doing for the next 20, 30, 40 years.

This is your career. Start loading it up.

When you’re out and about, meet people. Don’t worry about sponsoring them.

What happens in the cold market world is that people get so pressured into thinking about having to sponsor someone.

No. Just make friends, get business cards, and exchange info. Don’t put all that pressure on yourself.

If you’re not going to get the number anyway because of the pressure, just get it.

Once you get good at getting phone numbers and business cards, then you can become more comfortable on actually calling, inviting, pitching, and prospecting and sorting through them.

I hope this added a ton of value.

If you feel like this can add some value to some others, definitely hit the share button.

  • The Law of Expectation: Expect More Out of Life

The Law of Expectation: Expect More Out of Life

    expectation

If you have a small expectation, you’re going to get small things. Raise your thinking, have a bigger expectation and see how it transforms your life.

The Law of Expectation: Expect More Out of Life

The law of expectation basically says you’re never going to get more than what you expect out of life.

If you expect small things, you’re going to get small things. If you expect big things, you’re more likely to get big things.

There’s no promise of anything obviously, but here’s my whole philosophy on it. It takes just as much energy to think big as it does to think small.

The stream of life says that you can get whatever you want from the stream depending on what you expect from the stream, from the source.

Not to get spiritual here, but I consider God to be the source.

If you’re going to the source, and you expect small things from that source, that’s what you get.

Most people come to the source, and when it comes to financial abundance, as an example, they bring a teaspoon. So, what are they going to get? The most they can get is a teaspoon because that’s what they’re bringing to the source.

If you bring a bucket, you can get a bucket. If you bring a swimming pool, you can get a swimming pool.

Your Expectation Needs to be Bigger

The whole thought is you’ve got to expect more.

    How do you expect more?

Number one, it’s as simple as literally raising your thinking.

    I’ll give you an example.

When I got into network marketing, in the beginning, I struggled for a long time. I really didn’t expect a lot from myself because I had never really produced a lot. My thinking was very small. When I thought about my goals, my goals were fairly small, too.

Contrast that to when I joined my existing company that I’ve been with now for over 10 years, I expected very, very big things. And I ended up getting big things from that.

Network marketing is really all about leadership. Everything rises and falls based on leadership. So, we’ve got to look at the principles of leadership in network marketing and understand that people will really only follow a big vision.

So, if you are coming to the source, if your expectation is small, you’re not going to inspire a lot of people.

Now, if you want to make an extra $ 300 a month, and you’re cool with that, you can certainly do that. There’s nothing wrong with that.

In fact, I’d love to have a million more people in my group wanting to make an extra $ 300 dollars a month.

Just realize that if that’s your expectation, you’re unlikely to get a lot more than that. And it’s possible to get so much more.

    Different Levels of Thinking

There are different levels of thinking from leaders in network marketing.

Many of the leaders, their whole pitch is based on making an extra $ 300 a month and again, there’s nothing wrong with that, but if I’m talking to someone, I’m going to be talking about a much bigger expectation because I believe that they can produce a lot more.

The argument here is that if you expect a ton from someone, it scares them away, but I’m okay with scaring people away. It’s just a different philosophy.

My vision, my expectation, what I have certainty on, is that we can build the biggest company in network marketing.

I’m not saying my company is better than yours. I think you should believe the exact same thing about your company.

You should believe your company is the end all, be all.

Does that mean you talk bad about other network marketing companies? No, not at all.

United we stand, divided we fall.

    I support the entire industry.

There are lots of amazing companies out there. If you believe your company is the best company in the world, I support you in that belief. Just like I hope you support me in the belief that mine is the greatest.

My expectation is to have tens of millions of customers, and break the mold in the network marketing profession, and go out and capture market share like no one has ever done before.

I believe that we can build the biggest company in the world.

I have certainty that that’s possible because someone else made that happen. Someone else is the biggest network marketing company in the world.

There’s no reason why I can’t do it as well within my organization. There’s no reason why you can’t do it as well if your expectation is big enough.

Big Expectation = Big Vision = Inspiration

What happens is because I’m always talking about a big expectation, I’m way more likely to get people to buy into that vision because a big vision is what inspires people.

How do you expand your own vision? How do you expand your expectation?

A lot of that goes back to programming. It’s very simple.

Your belief about what you should be able to expect in the world is going to be based on a few things.

It’s going to be based on your experiences.

If you’ve had a lot of success, you’re way more likely to believe that you can have a huge expectation. You’re more likely to have a big expectation if you’ve had successful results.

The challenge is a lot of us have not had a lot of successful results so you have to look at the other two ways that we are programmed to have the beliefs that we have.

    External Programming

If you hang around with nine broke friends, guess what? You’re the tenth.

If your expectation is bigger than your circle of friends, you have the wrong circle of friends.

I love the fact that the circle of friends that I have, have a huge expectation.

They want to make a dent in the universe and change the world. They want to do something that’s never been done before and want to change the paradigm of network marketing, and that’s not just in my company, that’s leaders in other companies as well that are friends of mine.

You are who you hang around with.

If you take your five best friends and average their bank account, that’s about how much money you have in your bank account, almost to the dollar. So, if you want to expand your net worth, you need to expand your network.

You need to hang around with people who have a bigger expectation.

If someone is laughing at you, ridiculing you, or telling you those things don’t work, saying, “Who are you to think you can go out and be a millionaire,” and all of these things, you need to change your friends.

Hang around with people who celebrate you, not people who tolerate you. You should not be tolerating people who simply tolerate you.

    Internal Programming

The third way that we’re programmed is our internal programming. It’s what we say and what we think about ourselves.

You need to have positive affirmations.

Just about every hour before the top of the hour, I have affirmations set on my phone as alarms.

One of those affirmations that pop up every day at 9:50 a.m says, “I am fucking unstoppable”.

What I’ve realized is if I rely on myself to do affirmations every day, sometimes I forget so I create a daily reminder. It’s a repeating reminder in my phone where every hour, something’s popping up, affirming me as the person I ultimately want to become, as if it’s already true.

You may want to have some affirmations that are saying things like, “I’m one of the most confident women in the world. I’m one of the most confident men in the world. I’m unstoppable”. Whatever it is that you want to become, affirm it, and create some mechanisms to where you don’t forget about it.

There’s no sound on these alarms. It just pops up. My phone vibrates, I see it, and I think to myself, “I’m one of the most confident men in the world,” and I snooze it. Then another one pops up an hour later, so I’m constantly programming myself all day long, and because I’m positively programming myself throughout the day, guess what happens?

I had a much bigger expectation for myself based on my own programming.

This is serious gold here but it’s not gold if you don’t implement it.

How easy is it to implement an affirmation that goes off on your phone as an alarm every hour? It’s easy to do.

What affirmations should you do? Well, here’s how you figure it out.

If you could be anyone in the world, who would you be?

Don’t say, “I want to be Matt Morris or Tony Robbins” or anything like that.

It’s the ultimate version of you.

    The Expectation of Yourself

If you could be anyone, what is the ultimate version of you look like?

It might be, “I’m the leader that every other leader is looking for”.

Maybe it’s, “I’m the most respected leader in network marketing”.

It might be, “I’m the best there’s ever been and the best there ever will be”. Whatever it is that excites you.

“I’m a millionaire creator. I’m the motivator to the motivators”.

    Those are some of mine.

Hopefully, you don’t think, “Man, this guy’s an egomaniac”.

I’m not telling anyone else these affirmations.

I hate the whole “fake it till you make it,” thing. I hate it like poison.

Don’t ever pretend like you’re someone else to someone else. Don’t ever lie to someone else, lie to yourself.

Create those affirmations for you. There have been so many times that they’ve manifested for me.

Maybe you want to be an inspiration to other people. Your affirmation might be, “I touch, move, and inspire people. I light people up”.

Create those affirmations and go through them on a regular basis. That’s going to expand your expectation.

I’m visualizing what I’m going to have in the future so I think about my yacht, having a 170ft yacht with a helicopter landing pad and jet skis that pop out.

We’ll have a big inflatable trampoline. We’re going to have a people launcher that’s like a slingshot that shoots people out into the ocean. We’re going to have a huge hot tub on the yacht.

So, as we’re cruising the Mediterranean at midnight, looking at the stars, popping bottles of champagne, it’s got to be a big hot tub because I need to be able to fit all my leaders who are on the trip with me.

That’s an inspiring vision for me that I share with people on my team. All the time, I’m saying, “Hey, if you want to be on the yacht, all you have to do is be at the top rank”.

That’s an extra incentive to come on the yacht with us. That’s a big expectation.

The reality is it takes just as much energy to have a big expectation as it does a small expectation.

Create a big expectation for yourself. Affirm it over and over and over. Share that with your organization. Share that with the people who are bought in.

I don’t necessarily mean you have to share it with everyone in your life, but you need to share it with the people who are bought in, your supporters, and with the people who celebrate you.

I believe God is unlimited. He’s unlimited in his capacity to bless us and because he’s unlimited in his capacity and power to bless us, why should I limit my expectation?

I should have a massive expectation and you should, too, because God is massive and unlimited. His gift to us is unlimited potential, not unlimited potential, and our gift to God is using that potential.

My friends, my prayer for you is that you use that potential that is inside of you. Expect way more out of life because what you expect is what you’ll get. If you expect little, you’ll get little in every case, so you might as well expect big, right?
