5 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Affiliate Marketing

Most newbies want to know how to start an affiliate marketing business.

The truth of it is that there are no real “internet secrets”.  There is so much information on the internet that cover almost everything that you could possibly want to know about the topic.

And that is actually part of the problem… There is so much information out there that it’s really kinda hard to know where to get started.

And if you are anything like I was when I first started, you will have found that regardless of having learned all the strategies, affiliate marketing just isn’t quite working out the way you thought.

I’ve been doing affiliate marketing for about 3 years now and It is one of my favorite ways of making money online.

Affiliate marketing is probably the simplest business model for anyone who is just getting started in the online world to find initial success.

Over the past 3 years, I’ve learned a lot about affiliate marketing and ( and I am still learning ) and I want to share what I’ve learned with you.

One of the reasons that I got into affiliate marketing is that I dreamed of making my fortune and traveling all over the world – taking a break here and there to pull out my laptop and do some work while sitting on the beach sipping on a cool cocktail.   The problem was that I was not really focused on really making it happen.  I already had a six figure income from my consulting work, and I just didn’t treat my new internet business like a business.  And because I didn’t work my business, my business didn’t work for me!

If this is your experience, then take a few minutes to read this post to learn how to begin in affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing can really change your life and anyone can do it. But the “secret” of wealth creation is hard work, time, dedication and effort. So,  you must do something every single day to move your online business forward.

Again, most of the information that you need is out there on the internet, and if you really really want it, you can use that information to figure out all this affiliate marketing stuff and get it working for you.  But I suggest that you get proper training,  find a mentor that can guide you on your journey and provide you with a blue print that you can use to fast track your online success.  And once you have those things in place, set your focus on your goals and work hard towards them.  You will then find that you will start to move forward towards your goals and dreams and live up your expectations!

In this video, I will help you to turn things around. Then you will be able to achieve the online financial freedom that you deserve.

One Thing I Wish I Knew At 20

One Thing I Wish I Knew At 20

I get asked all the time, “Matt, what is one thing you wish you knew at 20?”

One thing I wish I knew at 20

It’s always important to look at the past so we don’t repeat it.

Always interesting to find that when looking in the past, hindsight is always 20-20, isn’t it?

Looking back 20 years ago, the biggest thing I wish I would have known is that I was WAY more powerful than I thought I was.

20 years ago, I had not yet gotten full-time in network marketing.

I was struggling and felt I was not a talented leader or communicator.

Pretty much, I felt like a failure.

Honestly, I kinda was (if you looked at my bank account).

Looking back, I was way better than I thought I was.

But because I didn’t think I was talented, I refused to show my gifts.

I refused to use my gifts and put myself out there…

…and I was trapped in a bubble of fear.

I wish I knew at 20 how powerful I really was

Even moving into my 30’s, I still didn’t feel like I was enough.

I still hid in the shadows and didn’t step up and use my potential even though I was extremely powerful and had so much more left to give.

    This goes for you too.

You’re way more powerful than you think you are.

You are way better than you think you are, but you’ve been hiding out.

You’ve been trapped in a bubble of fear.

    Not just some of you…

    But all of you!

I don’t care where you are in life…

    You’ve got another level.

See, what I think is true is that God gives us an incredible gift and that gift is potential.

    Unlimited potential.

What any man or woman can do, we can do.

If we put our heart and soul into it…

and we back it up with work ethic, we can go out and have it.

The message: You are better, way better than you think you are.

What I wish I knew at 20 was that I was enough.

    Stop hiding.

    Get out of the shadows.

    Let’s go create something beautiful.

Let’s go make a massive difference in the world together and let’s live life full out!
