7 Steps I’m Using to Climb the Leaderboards (and You Can Too)

Have you ever wondered what those people at the very top of the leaderboard are doing to get there?

What is their secret? Do they know something you don’t? Do they have some kind of magical powers that only a few people in affiliate marketing ever get?

I used to wonder the same thing.

For years, I was frustrated. I worked hard, but I stayed stuck — barely getting leads, barely making sales.

But now, after rebooting my business, things are starting to click. I’m consistently generating leads and sales, and I’m on track to hit the top 3 on my company’s leaderboard this month.

So today, I want to share the exact tips I’m learning from my millionaire mentor — the same ones that are helping me finally see results.


Step 1: Master ONE Traffic Source

This was my first breakthrough.

There are so many ways to get traffic: Facebook ads, YouTube, TikTok, solo ads, CPA… it’s overwhelming.

In the past, I tried a little bit of everything — but because I never focused on one thing long enough, I never got good at any of them.

What I’m learning now is this: pick one strategy and master it.

For me, that’s solo ads. Some people love them, some people hate them — but I chose to get really good at them, and now they work for me.

When you focus on one traffic source, you can get predictable results — and predictability means progress.


Step 2: Be Ultra Consistent

This is the key that separates wannabe entrepreneurs from real ones.

Most people only work on their business when they feel motivated. But the truth is, consistency is where the magic happens.

My goal now is simple: generate leads every single day — no excuses.

If you can generate at least 50 leads a day (consistently), you will find yourself in the top 10–15 of almost any leaderboard.

Consistency builds trust. Consistency builds momentum.


Step 3: Create Lead Magnets That Brand YOU

This one was a game-changer for me.

Top marketers don’t just send traffic to the same generic pages as everyone else. They brand themselves.

That means creating something free that solves a problem for your audience — a short PDF, a video training, a checklist — and giving it away in exchange for their email.

If you’re not ready to create your own capture page yet, that’s okay. You can still use the one your company provides, but send your freebie as your first follow-up email.

When people see that you’re helping them right away, you start building a real relationship — and relationships create sales.


Step 4: Offer Bonuses

People love getting extra value. And let’s be real — if you’re not offering a bonus, someone else probably is.

Your bonus doesn’t have to be fancy. It could be:

  • A done-for-you lead magnet
  • A short consultation call
  • A private Facebook group
  • A training you bought with private label rights

The point is to give them something that makes your offer more valuable than everyone else’s.


Step 5: Use Email to Build Relationships

This is a big one I ignored for too long.

Email isn’t just for selling — it’s for connecting.

I now email my list daily with value — blog posts, videos, tips — things that help them solve their problems.

When you give value, people open your emails. And when they open your emails, they click. And when they click, they buy.


Step 6: Call Your New Members

This is something I’m adding into my reboot right now — and it’s powerful.

When someone joins your list or buys from you, pick up the phone and call them.

You don’t have to sell them anything — just thank them, welcome them, and ask about their goals.

This personal touch sets you apart. People do business with people they trust — and nothing builds trust faster than a real conversation.


Step 7: Wash, Rinse, Repeat

This is the part most people skip.

They do the right things for a week, don’t see big results, and quit.

But here’s what I’m learning: consistency over time is where the breakthrough happens.

If you do these steps every day for six months, your life will look completely different.
