When I finished, I sat back and waited for the “yes.”

And then the prospect said words that still ring in my head:

“Russ… it sounds really good. I just don’t know if I can do it.”

That moment changed everything for me.

It wasn’t about the price.
It wasn’t about the offer.
It wasn’t about the timing.

It was about belief.

THEIR belief.

I realized that the real sale I needed to make wasn’t the offer.
It was the belief in their own ability to succeed.


When Prospects Don’t Believe in Themselves, They Freeze

Think about it…

If someone doesn’t trust themselves, they…

✓ Hesitate
✓ Delay
✓ Avoid decisions
✓ Doubt everything
✓ Look for reasons NOT to move forward

You’ve probably seen this before:

You show them how simple it is.

“If they can do it… maybe I can too.”

Boom.
Belief unlocked.


3. Repeat this magic phrase: “I’ll help you.”

Those three words calm fear.

It tells your prospect:

“You’re not alone.”
“You won’t get lost.”
“You won't fail without support.”

People don’t buy products.
They buy connection.


4. Remove the pressure

Pressure kills belief.

When people feel pushed, they shut down.

Use soft, caring energy:

“I want the best for you.”
“There’s no rush.”
“You deserve success.”

Your calmness creates clarity for them.


5. Help them see THEIR future

Ask simple questions:

“What would your life look like if this worked?”
“How would you feel waking up with extra income?”
“What would change for your family?”

When they SEE the future, they BELIEVE in it.


Most People Struggle With Belief (And They Hide It)

You need to know something important:

Most prospects will NEVER tell you:

“I’m scared.”
“I don’t trust myself.”
“I’m afraid I’ll fail.”

They hide it behind:

“I need more time.”
“I’ll think about it.”
“I’m not sure.”
“I’ll get back to you.”
“Money is tight right now.”

These aren’t real objections.
These are fear responses.

When you understand this, you stop getting frustrated…
You stop taking it personally…
And you start helping people at a deeper level.

You become someone who lifts others, not pressures them.

You become someone who helps people believe in themselves when they’ve forgotten how.

“Do I sound calm?”
“Do I sound confident?”
“Do I sound loving?”
“Do I sound like someone who cares?”

A calm, caring voice builds belief.

A tense, pushy voice destroys it.

Your energy tells them:

“I see something in you that you can’t see yet.”

And THAT is what makes people say “yes.”
